ATLANTA, Ga. — Lucie Content is proud to announce that we have received three 2024 Emmy Award nominations from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Southeast Chapter.
Lucie Content Nominated for 3 Emmy Awards from NATAS Southeast Chapter
Lucie Content was nominated for “City of Dreamers” in the Arts/Entertainment - Short Form Content category. We produced this video with our partners at the Georgia World Congress Center Authority to air during the Look Up Atlanta fireworks event.
We were also nominated for our Why Georgia? Primetime Special in the Arts/Entertainment - Long Form Content category. We produced the 30-minute primetime special with our partners at Assembly Atlanta and Gray Television. Hosted by legendary television personality Monica Pearson, “Why Georgia?” focuses on the positive impact of the TV and film industry across the state of Georgia.
The third nomination was in the Public Service Announcement category for a PSA we produced with our partners at the Fulton County Solicitor’s Office. The 30-second spot aired across the state during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
“While we don’t create content with awards in mind, it is wonderful to see the hard work of our team recognized,” said Craig Lucie, CEO of Lucie Content. “We are extremely appreciative of our partners who trust us to tell their stories. These nominations are just as much theirs as they are ours. Congratulations to all of the nominees!”
“City of Dreamers” (Arts/Entertainment - Short Form Content)
The Georgia World Congress Center hosted “Look Up Atlanta” in Centennial Olympic Park, and worked with Lucie Content to engage the crowd leading up to the fireworks. We worked with the team to write, produce, shoot, and edit “City of Dreamers,” spotlighting everything that makes the city of Atlanta so special. Our team worked with Ambassador Andrew Young to narrate the video, and created a special moment where he appears on camera. During the live event, the “dreamer” in the video appeared on stage to count down the fireworks display at the 2023 Look Up Atlanta event.
“Why Georgia? Primetime Special” (Arts/Entertainment - Long Form Content)
Our partners at Assembly Atlanta had a vision to create content that supports and spotlights the positive aspects of the TV and film industry across the state of Georgia. Hosted by legendary television personality Monica Pearson, our series “Why Georgia?” highlights the community behind the state’s biggest blockbusters. The 30-minute primetime special aired on Gray Television stations across the state of Georgia.
“Fulton County Solicitor’s Office Domestic Violence Awareness PSA” (Public Service Announcement)
We partnered with the Fulton County Solicitor’s Office to create an important message during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The entire PSA was shot at Lucie Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. It then aired across the state of Georgia to help raise awareness during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The Emmy Awards are an extensive range of awards for artistic and technical merit for the American and International television industry. A number of annual Emmy Award ceremonies are held throughout the calendar year, each with their own set of rules and award categories.
Because Lucie Content is located in Georgia, we are a part of the Southeast chapter of the National Academy of Television & Sciences. The Regional Southeast EMMY® Chapter is one of 19 chapters throughout the United States identifying and celebrating television excellence at the local and regional level.
The winners will be announced at a live award ceremony on Saturday, June 15, 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia.
